I’ll admit it - I have like 10 sad looking extra frozen bananas in my freezer pretty much at all times. Many of them started their lives at Intel (well I guess they didn’t really start there as they didn’t grow there…) and then ended up sitting on my desk uneaten. They would eventually make it into my house, sit on the counter, and turn brown. They would then join their frozen brothers and sisters in my freezer. Intel allows employees one piece of free fruit a day, and I hoard them in my freezer like the apocalypse can be staved via frozen fruits.

The easiest cutiest simpliest breakfast Pinterest will tell you you can make is Overnight Oats. It photographs like nobody’s business in cute little Mason Jars and the flavor opportunities are literally endless.

I have an obsession with crockpot recipes. And how could I not? They are so darn simple.

I’ve made fried rice a few times now, taking what I’ve seen my dad turn into stir fry (pretty much anything and everything leftover in the fridge) but adding rice. Recently I’ve made fried rice with leftover turkey, random raw veggies, and then whatever frozen veggies I’ve had partial bags of. Plus a jalapeno! It’s worked out really really well each time.

Sometimes I amaze myself. Like seriously, what the hell is Pumpkin Spice extract? I was really convinced that the Pumpkin Pie Spice was actually Pumpkin Spice extract. So much so I didn’t even bother to correct myself. It’s the litte things that keep you entertained while editing.

Making breakfast, just like making anything else, requires time and patience. I already have no patience and in the morning I’d much rather lay in bed and pretend I’m still sleeping. So it’s very ambitious of me to think about making anything that requires a substantial amount of effort (because of that time issue). Yet somehow I convinced myself that I would attempt to make kolaches.

I did it! I actually did it! I tackled editing (sort of) and uploaded my first video. I can promise that like a fine wine, they will only get better with age.
